TITLE: Hard Work and Determination Brings Success

Ruhina, a poor widow, had two children. She lived in a slum. She was jobless. She was a woman with a little education. One day a teacher advised her to go to adult education center. She could understand well that she needed proper education to improve her poor condition.

Soon she started going to the adult literacy center in her village. Going to school at her age seemed very strange to some local people. They thought that she had gone completely mad! They started to tease and insult her. Ruhina could clearly see that they were actually jealous of her. She kept quiet and silently took all the insults inflicted upon her. She had known before that the path she had chosen would not be smooth.

She could hear people talking about her but she did not hesitate. She took it as a challenge. She finished her course there and received some useful learning and training. She also learnt handicrafts skills with her sister-in-law. Then she began to make bags with her sister-in law for their relatives, neighboring women and some known person.

In the main time she took admission at future where her sister-in law was talking skills on Computer, English and Business Management.

She was taking these two acroases same time. At the end of these two acroases she decided to run a business. She learnt how to develop business, keeping documentation, justifying customer’s demands, supplies,, market analysis etc. Almost sometime she used to sell her products.

At the beginning her business was not very profitable, but as time went by her business flourished. It began to make a good profit.

Now she can maintain her family smoothly and she is satisfied with her business income.

Thus through hard work and determination, Ruhina has become a literate, successful business person. She is now a well-established woman.
