TITLE: Robert Bruce and the Spider

Once there lived a good king in Scotland . His name was Robert Bruce . Hi loved his country and his subjects very dearly . His subjects had a great love and respect for whom . One day his enemies attacked his country and drove him away from his kingdom ………………….. So being defeated Bruce surrendered his Scottish throne to the English king . He united his spreaded , retreating armies with his peaceful , patriotic sermons invading against the English . He tried several times but failed to free Scotland from the English . Waves of bloodshed , execution of Scottish armies and series of failure made Robert Bruce too much dishearted . The failures also forced Bruce into becoming a hunted outlaw .

Bruce hid himself in a cave . In the dark cave he felt a drowsy numbness . He was obsessed with designing the way to free Scotland  from his obsession he only recollected the reminiscence of series of failures . All were heart rending and disheartening . Suddenly he observed a spider on the wall of the cave . It was spinning a web and trying to make a connection from one area of the caves roof to another . The spider failed in first attempt . Then it started again . Bruce noticed that the spider was about to succeed but again failed . Inspired of its failure for six times it simply started all over again until it succeeded . Inspired by the act of the spider Bruce got inner strength . He returned to inflict a series of attacks on the English . Bruce drove out the English garrison all their Scottish strong holds . The most momentous battles in British history occurred . Bruce restored the Scottish monarchy .
