HSC result published

                   Record breaking GPA-5

The results of HSC Examinations under seven Education Boards had been published yesterday. The pass percentage as well as the number of GPA 5 broke all the previous records.

7,80,000 students appeared in the examination out of which 6,51,512, came out successfully.The percentage of passing is 83.5% which is 20% percent higher than the last year’s. Total 80,000 students in all boards secured GPA 5. The percentage of successful students in Dhaka Board is 90% while in Rajshahi 75%, Jashore Board 80%, Chittagong Broad 85%, Sylhet Board 70%, Cumilla Board 76%, Barishal Board 82%. Of all schools in Dhaka Board, Motijheel Ideal School and College, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, Rajuk Uttara Model School and college and Mirzapur Cadet College showed the best performance. Securing GPA-5 is higher in cities than in rural areas. Though the guardians are happy with the result of their children ,at the same time also anxious of getting chance of admission into better colleges.
