Today is the International Nurse Day

Today is International Nurse Day. Like many other countries, Bangladesh is also observing this day with due importance.

A number of Govt. and non-government agencies have taken a lot of programmers on this occasion. President, Dr Yazuddin  Ahmed, Chief Adviser, Dr. Fakruddin Ahmed  and Maj. Dr. ASM Matiur Rahman(Rtd), Adviser for health and Family Planning have given special massage on this occasion. In their massages they have urged and called the nurses community to devote their sincere efforts to case the ailing mankind and remain beside them when they need their services most. The slogan for this year is “A favorable working environment is a pre- condition for a better work place and standard services.”

Ministry of health and family planning and Directorate of health have jointly organized a discussion meeting at the Shaheed Dr. Milon Auditorium in Dhaka Medical College.

Certificates and medals will also be distributed among efficient nurse. The programme will start at 9am. In the morning. Prior to this programme, a rally will be brought out from the National Museum gate.
