My Favourite Teacher
Teacher is said to the conscience of a nation. So, a good teacher is an asset to the whole nation. Among many teachers I have such a one who is most favourite to me. Mr. Tapan Kanti Chowdhury is my favourite teacher. He is an English professor. He is an experienced teacher. He has not only profound knowledge in English literature and language but also a style in teaching.
His teaching style is so much attractive and fruitful that when he delivers lectures there is pin drop silence in the classroom. He has all the features of a good teacher. He has a clear tone and a loud voice. In his class he delivers an introductory speech on the topics and then he goes to elaborate discussion. He is very liberal to give answers to the questions of any student. He is a man of principle with a strong personality. He has an elevated character which charms all the students. He is very sincere, punctual and helpful. He is patient in hearing the students' problems and always bears a smiling face. He motivates students to learn English not only for passing examinations but also to meet the practical purposes of life. He always encourages students to take part in co-curricular activities.
He is a teacher who does not provide us with bookish knowledge but teaches us how to live well. So, in my view, Mr. Tapan Kanti Chowdhury is an ideal teacher whom I like most.
