Football is an outdoor game. I like it best and play it most. It is an English game. But now a days it has become very popular in our country. Every school or college has a good football team.

The game is  played in a field of 100 to 120 yards long and 70 to 80 yards wide. Two goal-posts are put on each of the two opposite ends of the field. Football is played between two teams and eleven players make a team. Each team has a goal-keeper, two backs, three half backs and five forwards on each side. The teams stand face to face and the game starts when the referee blows the whistle. The players of each team try to kick the ball inside the goal post. The team which scores larger number of goals wins the game.

Football is an interesting and exciting game. We learn to obey the rules of the game and decision of the referee. No team can win without good team-spirit and co-operation with one another in the team.
