A hobby is an amusement. It is not a regular work. There are many kinds of hobbies. Many collect stamps and coins of different countries but my hobby is gardening. It is a very cheap and useful hobby. I spend a few rupees on seed and get fresh vegetables for my kitchen.

There is a small garden in a corner of my house. Whenever I am free, I go to my garden. There is a gate to enter. There are flowers, vegetable plants and fruit trees in the garden. The flowers are of different colours. They look very beautiful. None is allowed to pluck them. I take great care for the plants and flowers. I water them in time. I am very fond of gardening. I get up early in the morning. I say my prayers and go to my garden. There I take exercise for some time. The dew drops shine like pearls on the grass. It refreshes my brain and helps me to study the nature. I am very proud of my garden.
