Subject: Leave Application for Grand Mother’s Death
Respected Sir,
Most respectfully it is stated that my grandmother was in hospital for the last 10 days. Doctors were taking all the necessary tests to identify the disease. Today I have received a call from my home about half an hour ago that my grandmother had died.
I request you to grant me a leave for 2 days for completing the rituals attached to death. I will be very thankful to you if you allow me for this urgent leave.
