Dear Poll,
I am very glad to receive your email. You have wanted to know about our country. Frankly speaking, Bangladesh is a poor country. We have a population of about 160 million people. Almost every year our country is visited by natural calamities. While this is true, we have some glaring features on which we can pride ourselves. Our people are simple and brave and are capable of facing any calamity. They are hospitable too. As a Muslim country, most of the people of our country are Muslims.
Our Bangladesh is a country of villages. It is crisscrossed by many rivers. They help our agriculture mostly. The forest areas in the Sundarbans and the largest sea-beach at the bay of Bengal are the handiwork of nature’s beauty. We have six seasons and each season comes with its own taste and beauty. The golden fields of crops, green trees, tea garden, murmuring streams, large meadows, the hills, the flowers with their dazzling colors, the birds with their sweet songs have made this land a place of marvels.
You are earnestly requested to come to our country once and visit the tourist resorts. I will escort you to so much for the present. With all the best wishes.
