TITLE:Manhole or Man Trap!

It was a dark night. I was returning home from market. I was walking down foot path. I saw a man hole without the lid and I feel inside it. I could not stop myself as I was walking very fast. I was very lucky that some police were nearby and they come to me at once. But they could not rescue me as the manhole was a bit deep. They seemed very helpless and I was just crying like anything.

At that moment an idea came to me than I asked the police to contact with the nearest police station but they had no mobile phone or radio set. The police then stopped a car and requested the driver to give his mobile phone so that they could contact the nearest police station. Immediately, a rescue team came from the fire Service and Civil Defense Department. They put a ladder into the manhole and I could get out without any injury. The rescue team was astonished that I could save myself without any injury.
