Top Terror Killed in Encounter
Sujon Ahmed,Dhaka,10 September: At last the people of Mymensingh got a relief from top terror 'Kala Masud' as he died in an encounter with the members of the RAB. "Allah has saved us all as Masud is no more," said a sexagenarian couple whose son was killed by Kala Masud two years ago.
For about an era Masud has been running his terrorist activities at the gun point. He has taken away a huge amount of ransom from many people of the locality by threatening them at different times. From a source it has been heard that he has killed as many as 19 persons in Mymensingh town.
Yesterday with the help of a source the RAB found a clue about Masud's whereabouts. After 30 minutes of crossfire, Masud was shot to death. While going to arrest Masud, the RAB was faced with a protest from him. Masud opened fire first and the RAB members began to give a counter.
However, the inhabitants of the town expressed their great satisfaction hearing the news of Masud's death.
