Boat Capsizes, 2 Drowned
Noonmati, Aug 26 : At around 4 p.m. today, a boat rowed by two school students capsizes on the Brahmaputra near Choonsali Ghat, Noonmati. The students were studying in the 10th standard in Noonmati Jatiya Vidyalay. As reported by their classmates and parents, they did not know how to swim and had drowned before rescue party arrived. The dead bodies are yet to be recovered.
