Contributions of NGOs

Non-Government organizations (NGOs) Play a major role in development of our country, especially in rural and poverty-stricken areas.

In an over-populated and developing country like ours, only the government organizations cannot do all sorts of development activities. Besides, the government, NGOs also works in health, education, agriculture, family planning and other important sectors.

There are some places in our country where government services are very inadequate. The NGOs provide different services to the people of those areas. For example, in different remote char, hill and island areas, NGOs are present to provide the people with different services.

The NGOs are working across the country in clusters for women empowerment, women education, and employment of both man and women, and other social services.

Microcredit is one of the most important activities of the NGOs that help the rural poor to change their lot.   

Beside, NGOs are also working for conversation of environment, one of the much-talked about issues of the present world.
