A dialogue between two friends on learning communicative English
Habib : Good morning, Sajeb.
Sajeb : Good morning, how are you?
Habib : Fine, thank you. How are you Sajeb?
Sajeb : Fine. Now what's the matter?
Habib : I'm on the look-out for you. I need your help.
Sajeb : How can I help you?
Habib : I want to know something about the learning method of Communicative English.
Sajeb : Well, what do you want to know?
Habib : You know, I'm very weak in English but it is indispensable in our life. How can I learn it?
Sajeb : Well, firstly you need a strong determination.
Habib : Yes and then?
Sajeb : Then a lot of practice is needed. When you speak, you must speak in English.
Habib : I see.
Sajeb : For pronunciation, you've to listen to BBC and CNN programmes.
Habib : What about vocabulary?
Sajeb : To increase vocabulary, you have to read English storybooks, magazines, newspapers etc.
Habib : Some people suggest to consult dictionary.
Sajeb : Yes, of course you have to consult dictionary also.
Habib : But when I speak English, some people laugh at me because I make mistakes.
Sajeb : You shouldn't worry about it. You can learn to communicate through mistakes.
Habib : Is that all?
Sajeb : That's all. If you proceed in this way, you'll be greatly benefited.
Habib : Thank you so much, Sajeb.
Sajeb : You're most welcome.
