Sumon: Shakib, How are you, friend?

Shakib: I’m fine. But I am so sorry for being late.

Sumon: No problem. Today I would like to talk to you about the frequent cyclones in our country.

Sakib: Of course. Actually, now they are a most talked about issues.

Sumon: Do you agree cyclones are occurring frequently in our country?

Shakib: Right. But why are they so frequent nowadays?

Sumon: I do think it is mainly for serious climatic change in our country as well as all over the world.

Shakib: Why this change is occurring?

Sumon: It is actually for the increasing pollution of our environment, especially in the air.

Shakib: Who is responsible for this pollution and who are the victims?

Sumon: We, humans are responsible for this pollution and we ourselves are the main victims of them. We are causing destructive deforestation, making huge smoke and fume, emitting too much carbon-di-oxide, CFC and many other toxic elements in our air and environment. All these are causing this pollution. Consequently, the temperature in our atmosphere is seriously increasing.

Shakib: So, pollution and temperature are increasing their chief causes. Right?

Sumon: Exactly.

Shakib: Please explain the bad effects of the cyclones.

Sumon: Thousands of people suffer inhumanly, many people die and many become homeless, foodless and clothesless. The miseries of the affected people know no bounds. There is always the scarcity of food and pure drinking water. Crops are damaged and trees are uprooted. Thousands of cattle are washed away. Moreover, diseases like diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, etc. break out here and there. The affected people do not get essential medicines.

Shakib: However, our government and many kind people come forward to help the victims.

Sumon: So, it is high time we took care of our environment to lead a disaster-free life.
