Adip:  I went to the capital city with parents to consult with a doctor and stayed two weeks there.

Myself: What happened to you? Was it serious? Why didn’t you tell me?

Adip: I have no problems. I am physically sound. But my younger brother suffered from Arsenicosis.

Myself: What do you say? What is it?

Adip: Asenicosis is a diseases caused by drinking Arsenic contaminates water.

Myself: Would you please tell me something about Arsenic?

Adip: Arsenic is a colorless, tasteless poisonous element found in ground water and it is very harmful for health.

Myself: How can we save ourselves from this poison? How can we select safe water for us?

Adip: We mustn’t drink the Arsenic contaminated ground water. We should drink the surface water after boiling. Again the tube-wells which are painted green draw safe water. We can drink it.

Myself:  What is the remedy for it?

Adip: Eating a lot of vegetables and fishes is an initial treatment for it. It is believed that vitamin A, C and E are effective for the treatment of Arsenicosis.
