Dear Sir,
We have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact that the students of our college have faced a series of problems today while coming to college because of torrential rain which began last night. Most of the students are now sitting in different classrooms with wet uniform and dress. Some of them are shivering with cold. Besides, some of them have already left the college. Today is a rainy day and it has been raining torrentially since morning. Students who live in distant areas have failed to come to the college because of transport problem. So, the attendance of the students is very poor today.
In view of the reasons mentioned above, we hope that your honour would be kind enough to suspend the classes on the ground of rainy day.
